Site Summary

 
We are planning a wide variety of activities and opportunities for worship and fellowship.  With services nearly every day, we want to continually draw our focus back to the wonderful gift of God dwelling with us and celebrate this incredible fact with encouraging messages, children’s classes and worship in song and prayer.

Fellowship will be incorporated into as many functions as possible with outings to some outstanding local restaurants such as the Mount Hill Tavern, and Longhorn Steak House. We also plan to have a picnic at a local park.

Location of Services

 
Services will be held at Pleasant Hills Christian Church - a member of the General Conference of the Church of God Seventh Day.  Services are semi-formal with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship.

Dress style during the week is informal while dress on high days or Sabbaths is semi-formal - formal - whatever best helps you to worship.  This congregation strives not to focus on the spiritual aspects of the individual and the feast days celebration rather than the physical elements.

Help with clean up and in the kitchen is always appreciated and can be initiated at the time of meals and such.

Monday, Sept. 28th – Services at 1 PM.  Robert Wertz will give the sermon message.  We are planning to go to Mount Hill Tavern after services to eat. 

Tuesday, Sept. 29th – Services at 10:00 AM.  Jack Sexton will give the sermon message.  We are planning to go to the Biblical Archaeology Museum in Myerstown, PA in the afternoon.

Wednesday, Sept 30th – Services at 10:00 AM.  Wayne Hrenyk will be the guest speaker.

Thursday, Oct. 1st – No services this day.  Trip to Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

Friday, Oct 2nd – Services at 7:00 PM.  During the day a trip to Lancaster sites.  Sermon will be given Jeff  Endecott.

Sabbath, Oct 3rd – Bible study for all ages will begin at 1:00.  Sabbath services beginning at 2:30 PM.  The sermon will be given by Calving Burrell.  There will be a potluck meal following services.  In the evening we will have a talent show/fun night.

Sunday, Oct 4th – Services at 10:00 AM.  Gary Staszak will give the sermon message.  There will be a picnic following services at a local park.

Monday, Oct 5th – Services at 11:00 AM.  Bruce Chesney will give the sermon message.  We are planning to go to the Longhorn Steak house after services to eat.
