Celebrate the Feast with Us
Site Summary
Greetings fellow brethren in Christ!! (a letter from Mark Roth)
My wife, Linda, and I live in Alaska, and we have been traveling to
Costa Rica since 2000, first as tourists. Later on we were
excited to discover fellow believers in Messiah and would visit with
them. In February of 2012 we helped sponsor an English
speaking teen leadership mission camp in Panama. In 2013 and
2014 we helped sponsor two more English speaking teen leadership
mission camps and two separate Spanish speaking teen leadership mission
camps, this time in eastern Costa Rica, down near Panama. The
teen camps are called Hebrew Roots Teens With a Mission. The
purpose of the camps is to help train and prepare the next generation
for the Kingdom work of living and sharing Torah life as leaders now
before Messiah returns. From the seeds of the teen camp grew
a deep desire to host Sukkot in Costa Rica for both English and Spanish
speakers to join together to worship our God. In Costa Rica,
the local people call themselves Ticos, and they call us English
speaking people Gringos. Our desire is to bring together
fellow believers of Central America for Sukkot so they can meet, become
friends, and then continue to fellowship and maintain connections
throughout the year, bringing about understanding and encouragement
between brethren.

Feast Schedule
The dates for this Sukkot celebration have the first holy day on October 9, 2014 with an opening message the evening before and the eighth day holy day on October 16, 2014.
Our focus for the Sukkot site is “Love Your Brother as Yourself.” Some activities we hope to enjoy together are Hebraic Circle dancing for praise and worship, plenty of Bible Studies and teaching/discussions, a visit to a local orphanage, a visit to a volcano and an afternoon at the beach. We also plan to join together with the Ticos for the weekend celebrations and studies where a translator will be provided for the teachings.
We will have more information as our activity and speaking schedules are planned more fully.
