Feast of Tabernacles 2017
October 5 - 11, 2017
Site Summary
Embassy of God has hosted Feast sites since 1998. This year is
our 20th anniversary Feast site, and we will return this year to Rio
Raft Resort on the beautiful and peaceful Guadalupe River. Rio Raft is
situated between Historic, Gruene, the Hill Country town of New
Braunfels, and Canyon Lake. The site features waterfront or poolside
cottages, spaces for recreational vehicles, and camping spots.
Location of Services
Services and other activities will be held in the event center
at Rio Guadalupe Resort. We are a small congregation, but we can
accommodate up to 50 people in the event center. Our services consist
of hymns, one or more Biblically centered messages, and opportunities
for questions. Our first service will take place Thursday, Oct. 5
at 10:30 a.m., in the Event Hall on the grounds of Rio Raft Resort,
leaving the balance of the day for rest, relaxation, touring or
recreation.
Accommodations
Rio Guadalupe features fully furnished cottages on the banks
of the Guadalupe River. The resort offers fishing, kayaking, canoeing
and tubing on the river. There is also a swimming pool. Cottages are
equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, bed linens and
towels. Although there are no special rates for churchgoers,
winter rates are in effect during the Feast.

Service Opportunities
We can always use people to help with food, and to enhance our
fun day and fun show, which will be Sunday October 8. We welcome anyone
who would like to share a song, a poem, a skit, a dance, or other form
of family -oriented entertainment. We also welcome those who would like
to compose our audience (applause appreciated, but not required).
