Feast of Tabernacles 2024
Harwood, TX September 19 - 26, 2024
Site Summary
Howdy, Y'all! We welcome you to come and join us for an authentic,
Texas-style Feast of Tabernacles! Our group members are local to Texas.
Therefore, we know just how much a Texas feast has to offer. We have
chosen an area that's surrounded by rich, Texas history, as well as the
beautiful "Texas Hill Country" scenery. To keep things more authentic,
we have rented a secluded, wild west-themed ranch for our services and
events. We have several fun events planned, as well as plenty of free
time to explore the area. We hope to make some fun, Feast memories with
y'all very soon!
Location of Services
About Us & What To Expect At Our Feast:
We are a small, independent, home church group. We come from a
Church of God background which had a lot of focus on world news and
Bible prophecy. Some of our members are multi-generational Sabbath and
Feast keepers, others were raised in the faith since birth, and our
“youngest babe” in the group was baptized at our Feast of Tabernacles 3
years ago, this year. Between our teachers, we have an online ministry,
a prison ministry outreach, we preach every other week at a 7th day
congregation and have published a magazine that discusses world news in
the light of bible prophecy. During the Feast of Tabernacles, our
teachers and elders will be available for baptism counseling and
baptisms, prayer & anointing, and blessing of the children for
protection. (For any first-timers thinking of joining us, please note
that we keep the Holy Days in Leviticus 23 and we observe the clean
dietary laws spoken of in the Bible.)
We will be hosting our Feast of Tabernacles at a private, wild
west-themed ranch in central Texas. Our more traditional-style services
will be held at 11 am. We are casual and so is our dress code. We just
ask that you please dress modestly. We say the name Jesus Christ, but
we don’t mind if you prefer to call Him by His other names. We will
have a mix of old hymns and more modern praise and worship music for
our song services. We don’t mind snacking and beverages during our
services. But we ask that you please bring your snacks in containers
that open quietly, as to not disrupt others during the messages.
Speaking of that, we record our messages for our internet archives and
we’re hoping to live stream during the feast, as well. So, if you have
small children who may start to cry or become disruptive during
services, we ask that you please take them outside until they calm down.

Feast Schedule
Our Fun Feast Schedule:
*Please Note: Some of our planned events will depend on the number of attendees at our Feast*
This year’s theme for our F.O.T. is: “God Bless Texas!” So, if an event listed below has (GBT) next to it that means we want you to make or bring things with a touch of Texas-- or a patriotic/red, white & blue theme.
- Thursday, Sept. 19th
- Church Services, Today Only @ 2 pm
- Get Acquainted - Fire Pit Fellowship Night @ 6 pm - This will be our “meet & greet” night. Bring your guitars, camping chairs, roasting rods, bug repellent, beverages and goodies to roast over the open fire. (Marshmallows with clean gelatin can be purchased on Amazon.)
- Friday, Sept. 20th
- Family Game Night & Shared Fellowship Meal @ 5 pm - We will have games that most can play, but if you have small children, you will probably want to bring something entertaining for them. Please bring a dish for the potluck-style fellowship meal as well as any preferred beverages. We will provide sweet & unsweetened tea, as well plates, bowls, cups, plastic ware and napkins.
- Saturday, Sept. 21st
- Baked Goods & Baskets Raffle (GBT) @ 7:30 pm - Bring your favorite baked goods, homemade goods and/or store-bought items to raffle off. (There will be a prize for the most desired item in the raffle.) Think Texas. Think patriotic. Think red, white and blue. Think Biblical-themed items. Think blankets. Think themed baskets. Think crafts and woodworking items. Other than during the Sabbaths, raffle tickets will be available for purchase from the start of the Feast up until 30 minutes before the raffle begins. Proceeds will help cover some of the costs for all of the “little things” that add up for our fun feast events.
- Sunday, Sept. 22nd
- There will be no church services on the morning of September 22nd. This will be a free day to go and explore the area with your family or as a group.
- Prophecy & End Times Discussion and Bible Study @ 6 pm - This event is pretty self-explanatory. We will also have a shared meal this evening. Please bring a dish for the potluck-style fellowship meal as well as any preferred beverages. We will provide sweet & unsweetened tea, as well plates, bowls, cups, plastic ware and napkins.
- Monday, Sept. 23rd
- Wine and Cheese Tasting Night (GBT) @ 6 pm - Please bring a bottle of wine, a container from which to drink your wine and things to pair with it -- like cheeses, chocolates, fresh fruit, crackers, etc. We will vote on our favorite pairings.
- Tuesday, Sept. 24th
- Movie Night At The Barn @ 6:30 pm - We will be showing a current event type documentary for the older kids and adults. It will be something focused on what’s happening in the world around us and who’s really behind it. We will have something more age appropriate for the children to watch inside the main house, as well as coloring and/or crafts. Please bring snacks and any preferred beverages. (Parental volunteers may be needed to help with the children.)
