Feast of Tabernacles 2024

Site Summary

We camp out in Surprise Valley on private land. We usually host about 30 people with many locals visiting during the week.  We have camp spots available and some water hook ups for small trailers.  We are very remote, but have running water from springs and a bathroom for the camp.  We meet every evening for campfire services and have various classes throughout the week.  This year we are planning on having a VBS style kids class every day. 

 

Location of Services 

We are pretty casual, dress for outdoors.  We  are outside the entire time.  We have meals together and take turns cooking dinner for the whole camp.  After dinner every evening we have campfire services.  Each evening is a different topic and we have a few different leaders.  Our meetings are usually interactive, feel free to engage and 

ask questions!

 

Accommodations

We offer free camp spots for your tent.  At this time, the feast is free for everyone.  You may be asked to provide and cook a dinner for the whole camp one night.  Everyone helps with clean up and whatever else needs to be done.  There are a few hotels or air bnb in the nearby town of Cedarville, CA.  Our campground is about 30 minutes from town.  Highly suggested to have 4WD. Feast Schedule

We often have classes during the week.  So far, we are planning on doing a VBS style kids class every day, a tzit-tzit making class, headwrapping class, moon calendar class.  No schedule yet.
