Summary
INTERNATIONAL 2017 SUKKOT SITE in CENTRAL AMERICA:
Bocuare, COSTA RICA
We will be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot at Bocuare Jungle Resort, which is located in Limon Province south of Limon city, near the east coast of Costa Rica and near Panama. We are expecting people from the U.S., Costa Rica, Panama, Belize, and Nicaragua to gather together for this 8-day event.
The schedule will be relaxed with speakers from the U.S., Panama, and Costa Rica. The planned activities include Hebraic circle dancing, activities for the children, praise and worship, family fun night, midrash (Bible Study), mission work and time to do some touristy things as well like Cahuita Beach day, visiting local chocolate makers, or pressing sugar cane. Please note that this is not a fancy American resort type international feast celebration. It is more adventurous, more local, more rustic, and is nestled in the Costa Rica jungle, with lodging on the Caribbean beach. There is some camping available at the Bocuare Jungle Resort.
At this Sukkot our goal is to progress past talking Torah, to hands on walking Torah with others. If you are looking for a great family environment where unity is not just promoted but demonstrated or if you are wanting to learn about missions (like the Limon orphanage and the Bri Bri old folks home), or wanting to get involved with a twelve-year-old mission work in Costa Rica (Crucified Life Ministries) and/or wanting to build personal relationships with other brothers and sisters that are following Torah in Central America, then this feast site is just right for you and your family. This is a small feast site, and we are expecting 30 international visitors and 20-40 Central Americans.
Format of Services

Dress code is casual and respectful. The temperatures will be between 68°F at night and 90°F during the day. Be sure to bring a light sweater/jacket for in the evening or in case of rain since there is no central heat. A small umbrella will probably come in handy. The Costa Ricans call this time of year their winter.
Meetings will be held in the open air restaurant of Bocuare Jungle Resort.

It is our hope that those who are able, will pay for their own lodging and meals, as well as share some extra to help accommodate those who are less able. Thank you in advance for sharing the abundance you have been blessed with.
